Restaurant General Manager - Fine Dining Restaurant - Ashford Kent

Our client is recruiting a Restaurant General Manager for their outstanding country restaurant based near Ashford in Kent. This is a professionally managed business with a skilled head chef and management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience of managing a restaurant serving all fresh food to a high standard and has a real interest in wine.

The Role

* Managing all aspects of service
* Engaging with guests
* Developing the restaurant business
* Training the team
* Up-selling from the menu and specials board
* Good understanding of restaurant administration, rotas, margins staff costs etc.

The Person

* You will already be working as a Restaurant Manager
* You will have a bright and engaging manner
* Experience of fresh food, restaurant with fine dining essential
* Strong leadership skills and training ability
* Ability to communicate with colleagues and clients equally well

Salary & Benefits

* Salary £29,000 - £35,000
