Excellent Head Chef Opportunity with Luxury Hotel

Head Chef. Our client based near Malmesbury & Tetbury is recruiting a Head Chef for their beautiful country house hotel. This is an opportunity to for an existing and experienced Head Chef who is looking for a new challenge in a busy environment. The Head Chef will manage the kitchen and prepare meals for high end banqueting & weddings, Grill Concept Brasserie & Bar.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen management. This is a key role within the management team and you will need to be a good communicator with the General Manager and colleagues. The GM is looking for a good leader and trainer to develop the kitchen brigade.

Key Responsibilities

* Effective Management and Development of your brigade
* Development of menus
* Management of GP and stock control
* Experience of running busy restaurant, bar, lounge and functions
* Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and cleaning schedules

The Person

* Strong Kitchen Manager as well as Chef
* Sound knowledge of running a busy kitchen with both banqueting and restaurant/bar service
* Strong understanding of kitchen finances and procedures
* Excellent communicator

Salary & Benefits

Salary Package to £43k (Basic £38K + bonus)
Temporary Accommodation if re-locating
