Excellent role with Leading City Hotel

A great opportunity for a Sous Chef is available at our client based in Cambridge to work in their leading City Hotel & Restaurant. As part of a team working with all fresh food you will be assist the Head Chef in serving meals for the restaurant, bar/lounge, room service and private functions.  The Hotel is looking for an experienced Sous Chef with a background in busy 4 star hotels or upmarket restaurants.

The Sous Chef Role

  • As Sous Chef you will deputise and cover Head Chef absence
  • Produce Meals for Restaurant, Bar & Functions
  • Training and developing junior members of the brigade 
  • Managing paperwork & Health & Safety

The Person

  • Already working as a Sous Chef in a busy, quality driven kitchen
  • Stable work history 
  • Hotel or Restaurant background with AA rosette experience 
  • Able to manage kitchen in Chef's absence 
  • Excellent communicator
