Our client is recruiting a Sous Chef for their popular country pub serving all fresh food based in Somerset. This is an opportunity for a Sous Chef to take the next step in their career and cook in the kitchen at this popular and busy property. The property serves all freshly prepared food with a modern seasonal menu using locally sourced ingredients. The Head Chef role offers a great work life balance with 4 days on, 3 days off per week!

The Sous Chef role

  • Reporting to the Head Chef you will be assisted by junior chefs
  • Working in the AA Rosette level kitchen using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients 
  • Preparing and plating meals for lunch and dinner service

The Person

  • You will already be a keen Sous or Junior Sous on promotion
  • Able to work unsupervised and develop junior team members 
  • Have experience of working in a 1AA rosette kitchen 
  • Good attention to detail 
  • Steady Career History

Basic Salary to £26k plus tips, bonus OTE £30k
