Sous Chef - Excellent Opportunity with Busy Hotel & Restaurant

Our client based at this busy property near Coventry & Birmingham is recruiting a Sous Chef to complete their brigade. This is an opportunity to join a busy hotel that offers guests food in a busy high volume restaurant and bar. The Head Chef has exciting plans for the kitchen and you can help him introduce new menus and dishes.

The Role

• Working in the busy bar & restaurant
• Assisting & Deputising for the Head Chef - kitchen management duties
• Working with all fresh food
• Preparing meals for restaurant and functions
• Ensuring Health & Safety & Hygiene regulations at all times

The Person

• Already an experienced Sous Chef
• Experience of working in a busy Hotel or Branded Restaurant ideally with some corporate/C&B experience
• Excellent communication skills as will manage brigade in chefs absence
• Capable and able to work unsupervised

Salary & Benefits

Salary to £27k plus tips
