Excellent Head Chef Career Opportunity
Our client is a luxury Hotel who are now recruiting for a Head Chef . The role will oversee the preparation of meals for Fine Dining Restaurant, Afternoon Tea, functions and banqueting.
The Role
This is a rare opportunity for an individual to be part of and lead a talented kitchen team. The successful applicant will be expected to inspire, motivate and constantly develop the kitchen team and menus in order to maintain its market position. The successful applicant will be extremely passionate about food and food service, and will have experience in managing similar kitchens that have strong emphasis toward fine dining. A strong knowledge of HACCP and allergen management is a must. You will have cooked to 2AA rosette level or higher and be used to running teams and coaching and development of them.
The Person
- Excellent Communicator
- Must have experience as a Head/Executive Chef in a luxury Hotel or Restaurant
- Strong financial awareness and controls
- Track record of Kitchen Management
- Hands on Leader & Team Player - record of developing/building brigades
