Sous Chef. A Fantastic opportunity has arisen at this prestigious college for a Sous Chef. As part of a talented brigade you will be assist the Head Chef in serving all fresh food to  delegates, VIPs, staff and students. The role will invole preparing meals for various outlets at the venue including for fine dining, high end banqueting and college cafe/buffett style restaurant. The role is 40 hours per week working early or late shifts Monday to Friday with around one weeked a month.

The Role

  • Reporting to the Head Chef you will be assisted by junior chefs and Run Kitchen in his absence.
  • Working in the kitchen using fresh and seasonal ingredients
  • Preparing and plating meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner service and functions

The Person

  • You will already be a Sous Chef
  • Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Have experience of working in a busy all fresh food hotel or restaurant kitchen
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ambitious and career orientated
