A Fantastic opportunity had arisen at our client based near Oakham & Stamford for a Sous Chef to work in their award winning country dining pub and restaurant. The kitchen prepares meals for lunch and dinner service using all fresh produce. The kitchen uses all locally sourced, seasonal produce and everything is made on site. The Head Chef can offer flexibility over hours so you can work 4 x 12 hrs with 3 days off or 5 x 9hr straights. The client can also offer relocation assistance with finding accommodation locally. The kitchen is being refurbished so you will get to work in a modern, brand new kitchen.
The Role
- Reporting to and supporting the Head Chef
- Brand New refurbished kitchen
- Input into menu ideas for the bar and restaurant
- Using fresh seasonal ingredients to cook to AA rosette levels
The Person
- You will already be a Sous Chef in a Restaurant or Pub with AA rosette level kitchen or higher
- Able to work unsupervised and be confident communicator
- Highly motivated and focused. Positive can do attitude
- Steady Career History
