Great Opportunity for First Head Chef role in Country Inn

We are recruiting a Head Chef for our clients fantastic country inn in the Langdale Valley near Ambleside & Grasmere. You will lead the brigade to produce all fresh, locally sourced produce to a high standard for both local guests and tourists in the Lakes. This is a hands on role leading and motivating the team and could be ideal for a Sous on promotion.

The Role

Reporting to the GM you will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen management, food service, ordering amd hygiene. This is a Hands on Head Chef role so you will be leading and cooking with an enthusiastic team that is already in place.

Key Responsibilities

* Effective Management and Development of your brigade
* Serving the existing popular locally soucred menu and specials
* Good Team Leader & Manager
* Cost & Hygiene management

The Person

* CV that demonstrates working ideally to rosette level in busy all fresh food kitchens
* Strong Communicator
* Hands on Experience in running a team

Basic Salary to £30k
