Excellent New Head Chef Opportunity on East Sussex Coast

Our client is recruiting a Head Chef for their popular pub with rooms serving all fresh food based in Rye, East Sussex. This is an opportunity for a Head Chef to take the next step in their career and manage an already popular and busy property with both locals and tourists. The property serves all freshly prepared food with a British Menu and daily specials with an emphasis on Fish & Seafood due to coastal location.

The Role

Working closely with the General Manager and Front of House Team
Producing Fresh Cooked Food using seasonal products - able to produce quality & volume side by side
Manage, Coach, Train and develop the brigade
Implement new menu ideas and keep focused on customer trends
Maintaining the Hygiene rating at the property
Managing GP targets

The Person

Already working as a Head Chef
Excellent Communicator & People person
Experience of Fresh Food volume driven fresh kitchen
Good Kitchen manager
Strong Menu Planning and GP costing skills

Salary & Benefits
