Head Chef - Luxury Venue - Leicestershire

Our client is recruiting a Head Chef to work under an Executive Chef at their luxury Property based in North Leicestershire. The role is to assist them in serving all fresh food for around 200 covers per service accross the day. You will work as part of a team of chefs preparing Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner which includes buffett style lunches and a traditonal TDH menu in evening.

The Person - Head Chef

  • Excellent Communicator
  • Must have experience as a Head Chef or experienced Sous at a large hotel or similar venue
  • Strong financial awareness and controls
  • Track record of Kitchen Management
  • Hands on Leader & Team Player - record of developing/building brigades

The Role

  • Working closely with the General Manager and Executive Head Chef
  • Producing award winning food with a modern British local and seasonal menu
  • Manage, Coach, Train and develop the brigade and especially junior chefs
  • Run service in Executives absence
