Head Chef required for Luxury Hotel in the Cotswolds
Our client based in the Cotswolds is recruiting a Head Chef for their 2AA rosette level hotel bar and restaurant. This is an opportunity to for an existing and experienced Head Chef who is looking for a new challenge in a busy environment. Working for supportive owners and established long serving management team you will prepare meals for the Bar & Restaurant only as the hotel is purely leisure focused with no weddings or conferencing.The kitchen has had new equipment installed so is an excellent career opportunity. The hotel has a high all year round occupancy rate and is popular with local regular guests also.
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary to £50k with Bonus worth £10k OTE £60k

The Role
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen management. This is a key role within the management team and you will need to be a good communicator with the General Manager and colleagues.
- Effective Management and Development of your brigade
- Preparing 2AA rosette level restaurant food
- Management of GP and stock control
- Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and cleaning schedules
The Person
You will already be a Head Chef capable of running a busy kitchen in a 4* Hotel. You will work closely with the General Manager and the rest of the management team so will need excellent communication skills.
- Strong Kitchen Manager as well as Chef
- Passion for creating seasonal menus and using seasonal, local produce
- Strong understanding of kitchen finances and procedures
- Excellent communicator and good at motivating teams
