Our client at this luxury 5* Hotel in Berkshire has an amazing opportunity to join their award winning Restaurant.

They are looking for an experienced Head Sommelier who has experience of working in a Michelin Star restaurant or luxury 5* hotel.

You must have an excellent knowledge of wines and spirits from around the world. This role is in Berkshire so you will need to relocate or commute to the area.

Responsibilities as the Head Sommelier…

• Ensuring spectacular wine and beverage service in the restaurant at all times
• Helping and advising guests with their wine and after-dinner drink choicees. Have excellent spirits and wine knowledge
• Upselling and promoting dishes and drinks on the menu
  
• Maintaining, replenishing and cleaning all wine service areas to ensure efficient service
• Regularly reviewing the wine list in line with the current trends to ensure the wine list appeals to a diverse customer base
• Strong management skills
• Training junior team members
