Our client is recruiting an Assistant Manager for their busy country dining pub and restaurant near Daventry. This is an opportunity to develop your career and is a role suitable for someone with a management experience in a busy operation. The Pub is popular with locals and people looking for an elevated dinining experience. You will work the restaurant floor along with the bar, and taking reservations. The role is working 45 hours a week with 2 full days off plus one of either Friday or Saturday evening off each week.The owner is looking for a personable and outgoing candidate who can communicate with guests daily.

The Role -

• Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant and bar
• Performing duties in the absence of the General manager
• Training and development of junior staff members
• Managing the restaurant & bar. Taking bookings

The Person - Assistant  Manager

• Outgoing and welcoming hospitality professional
• Stable work history showing progression
• Previous experience in a supervisory/management role
• Training experience an advantage
